At colleges, universities and community colleges, I have worked with councils of deans, administrative cabinets, full faculties, schools of education, and entire university communities to help make the research on race and education more meaningful and applicable. Discussing race and racism can be incredibly intimidating to educators and administrators, who often feel they are expected to be experts in an area where they have received little training. My workshops support groups to learn and laugh together, building skills for thinking collectively and collaboratively with a racial equity lens.
